Your photos never leave your phone.
qualcam has no servers, no accounts and no analytics pipeline. It contains no networking code at all — every frame it captures, every file it converts, and every setting it remembers stays on your device.

What the app touches, and where it goes
qualcam asks for a few permissions because a camera app cannot work without them. Here is every one of them, what it is used for, and where the resulting data ends up.

Nothing in that table is transmitted anywhere. qualcam contains no code that opens a network connection, so there is no server for your photos, videos or usage counts to be sent to — by us or by anyone else.

The optional usage counts, precisely
qualcam can keep a private tally of how you use it — for example that the paywall was shown three times today, or that two photos were converted. This is switched off until you turn it on in Settings, and you can switch it back off at any time.
A tally is a name and a number. It never includes the contents of a photo, a camera frame, an audio recording, a filename, or anything that identifies you or your device. The counts are written to your device’s own storage and to the iOS system log, and are reset each day. They are not sent anywhere, and we have no way to read them.
Because these counts sit in the iOS system log, they can appear in a diagnostic report if you choose to generate and send one to Apple or to us. Nothing is shared unless you do that deliberately.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple
qualcam+ is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether a subscription is currently active. We never see your name, your Apple Account, your card, or your billing address — qualcam has no way to receive them.
Your free daily conversion count is stored on your device alone. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can review or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.

Third-party code
qualcam includes two open-source interface libraries — Lottie and SwiftUI Introspect. Both are compiled into the app to help draw the interface. Neither collects data, and neither contacts a server. There are no advertising, analytics or attribution SDKs in the app.
Your control
Deleting your data
Everything qualcam stores lives inside the app on your device, so removing the app removes all of it: the Recents cache, your usage counts, and your settings. Photos and videos you saved stay in your photo library, where they belong to you — delete them there whenever you like.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing held elsewhere for us to return or erase on request.

Children
qualcam is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. It has no messaging, no social features, and no way to share content from inside the app other than the standard iOS share sheet, which you control.

Changes to this policy
If qualcam’s handling of data ever changes, this page changes with it and the effective date at the top is updated. Any change that affects what leaves your device will be called out in the app’s App Store release notes, not quietly edited in here.
